Mitsukejima Island
Visitors can see this "battleship shaped" island rising out of the sea right in front of a beach in Suzu. Because of its peculiar shape, it's become a popular symbol of Noto Peninsula.
Senmaida Rice Fields
Senmaida is an amusing site with many layers of thousands of small rice paddies on the steep slopes facing the sea. The number of these paddies goes up to 2000 and these paddies create a unique and beautiful geometrical landscape.
Ganmon
Ganmon is a translucent cave mouth created by the erosion of a big rock rising out of the sea. The rugged scenery created by steep cliff and fierce waves of near Ganmon are symbolic of the dynamic scenery of Noto-Kongo.
Chirihama Beach Driveway
This famous beach driveway is 8 km long and has a road-width of 50 m which runs from Hakui-gun to Imahama beach of Hodatsu-Shimizu-cho. It's made of tightly compacted fine sand making it firm enough for a pleasant drive along the beach.
Hegurajima Island
Hegurajima is situated approximately 48 km north of Wajima and is made of lava. It's a very small island measuring approximately 2km by 1km in size and with a surface area of 60ha.
Sosogi Coast
Sosogi coast is famous for its landscape scenery of natural beauty and magnificently rugged cliffs landscape created through a unique chemistry between sea and the rocks.
Rokugozaki "lighthouse"
Rokugozaki is the northernmost cape of Noto Peninsula. Visitors can enjoy a 180° grand panoramic view from Sado Island to Tateyama Alps.
